Anarkali Fine Dining: A Review

We love Indian food at our home so reviewing an Indian restaurant is always welcome. This particular one also happened to be quite near our home so it was one that we visited with the idea of visiting again.

Anarkali is a restaurant on King road jn Chiswick.  The restaurant itself is not very large but on entering it is well kept and the ambience is lovely.

The staff is cordial and friendly and always on hand to help.

We had Pappadoms and chutneys to start off with and the children thoroughly enjoyed these –

For starters we had Bombay Mix, no not the packet kind but a mixture of kebabs that were simply delicious.

For the children we ordered Korma, I ordered Tandoori King Prawn Masala and Hubs had the  Sunhera Fish Curry.

The korma was tasty and when eaten with naan bread made a delicious meal.

I had the prawns with pulao rice and the dish was good not too spicy but with a bit of a kick.

To finish we had mango Kulfi and Hubs had Gulab Jamun. The kulfi was nice but it tasted like it had coconut in it and I am not a big fan of coconut.  The children enjoyed it though.

20140524_200323We also met the owner who is also the chef and complimented him on the lovely food.

I liked the concept of the warm wipe that was provided after the meal – Very refreshing!

The entire experience was pleasant with the food being good and the service great.

The prices of the dishes are not exorbitant and the portions very generous.

We will definitely be visiting the restaurant again.

Disclaimer: We were provided with a complimentary meal. All ideas and opinions are my own.
