Ambrosia Mini Pots – The Proof is in the Pudding!

The children, love their dessert more than their food. But naturally.

So when we were given an opportunity to try out these new mini pots from Ambrosia, I was quite happy. Besides, from the look of them, they seemed ideal for lunch boxes.

I sometimes wonder what to give the children for dessert for school. I don’t want something extremely sweet and filling but something that goes down a treat at the same time.

My Mini Custard 3D lowres

These new Ambrosia rice pudding pots and custard pots are perfect for lunchboxes. They do not need refrigeration which is a big factor for me to stock these at home without crowding my refrigerator.

The taste

Custard mini pots – The children enjoyed the custard pots and they were finished in no time. I had to promise that these would be a part of the school lunchbox. The c ustard is not excessively sweet.

Rice Pudding – The rice pudding is delicious and the children loved it. It has just the right amount of ‘sweet’ in it. I have tasted some rice puddings that are so sweet that they make one feel sick. The Ambrosia rice pudding is creamy and really tasty.

My Mini Rice 3D lowres

Both the custard and the rice pudding come in little pots which are so convenient for carrying around while travelling and as I mentioned before – lunchboxes.

Since they do not need to be refrigerated, they can be stored anywhere and can be taken around on holidays so that children can have familiar desserts.

The best part is that they contain no preservatives and no added colour. I am quite happy to give my children these two flavours for their dessert.

They are priced at £1.49 and are excellent value for money, especially when you see the smiles on the little one’s faces.

With the children going back to school, I know this is going to feature in my morning lunch box preparations in  a big way.

They are available at all major retailers.

Disclaimer: I was sent the above packs to try out with my children. All ideas and opinions are my own.
