A Visit to the Hundred Acre Wood Online

We have a love for all things Disney and when you talk about Disney – who would not want to visit the Hundred Acre Wood, where Winnie the Pooh lives with all his friends. From Roo to Tigger to Eeyore, each is special in their own way.

We were recently invited to trial the new Hundred Acre Wood where Disney has partnered with Google to create a three-dimensional version of the wood using Google Maps.

Targeted at parents with young children, the interactive Hundred Acre Wood offers games, stories, videos and activities – all themed around the different characters and stories from Winnie-the-Pooh.

On visiting the site, you are invited to enter and the great thing about it, is that there is no signing up or anything, so you go straight through.

You are first invited to meet the characters and you can get information about each of them. It’s rather sweet.

Click on the little button on the top left of the screen and it will take you to the Wood itself where you can see each character’s house.

I loved this message when I clicked on Winnie –

‘If there ever comes a day when we can’t be together, keep me in your heart and I’ll stay there forever’

You can then enter the house and if you click on various articles you get ideas of how to celebrate or record milestones. I clicked on the shoes and it brought up ideas about getting babies used to shoes and also how to help them build their muscles.

You can also access games from the top right hand button where you can play games online or use the ideas there to play games with your little one.

I think this is a brilliant site for parents and children to interact with their favourite characters as well as gain ideas on making memories.

The Hundred Acre Wood can be found on disneybaby.co.uk, and aims to provide mums and dads with a moment of fun and inspiration for everyday life from ideas to mark baby’s first milestones to activities for all the family to enjoy

Disclosure: I was provided with compensation to review the site. All ideas and opinions are my own.
