Top 10 products every parent needs when travelling with children

Travelling with my children over long distances is quite a trial. The two girls suffer from travel sickness and my son gets airsick. The last time we took a flight, I came off it covered in vomit and it was neither a pretty sight nor a good feeling.

To alleviate the problem, we now take shorter trips in and around the UK that involves car journeys. My little one still gets carsick but it is easier to manage as I am prepared. Wristbands help and we are always ready with puke bags.

I was not surprised to find out that by the age of 6 months the average baby will have travelled 806 miles.

I was also not surprised to know that instead of travelling all over the world, these miles are being racked up by short journeys here and there (a quick pop to the shops or an outing to the park) as new parents prefer to stay here in the UK, rather than take their baby abroad.
Mini adventures are replacing longer trips with ‘staycations’ a firm family favourite as only 27% of new parents feel happy to board a plane with their newborn, thus 73%prefer to holiday here in the UK.
Whatever the distance, eBay knows that every outing needs those essential baby items. They’ve compiled a list of the top ten products that every parent needs:
  1. Nappies
  2. Wipes
  3. Spare Clothes
  4. Changing Bag
  5. Buggy
  6. Bottle
  7. Car Seat
  8. Toys
  9. Bib
  10. Nappy Bag

I can totally identify with this as when we travel even for a day out this is exactly what goes into the car with us (well. maybe not the bib as she is a little old for that!)

If you’re a mum, I am sure you will find all these products are exactly what you pack into your car too.
