We have read some of Sarah Lean’s books before and we love her writing. The children are very fond of animals and reading about them makes the books more interesting.
This time we were sent Tiger Days and the Secret Cat and this went down really well too.
The Story –
When Tiger Days visits Willowgate House, she never knows what to expect…
Tiger’s grandmother looks after animals in need and when Tiger comes to stay she quickly learns how toffee a baby warthog and keep it safe.
Tiger already had her hands full when a mysterious sounds leads her to another little animal…
No day is every dull at Willowgate House.
What we thought –
The book is well-written as all Sarah Lean’s books are. The language is simple and easy for even beginner readers to read on their own.
The book is filled with emotion and the love for animals shines through.
It is a heartwarming story.
The black and white illustrations add to the appeal of the book.
The book is available at Amazon and all other major book retailers. It is priced at £5.99
