Star Wars Path of the Force Lightsaber from Hasbro – Review

Ethan besides being tiger crazy is Star Wars crazy. He is a huge fan and knows Star Wars inside out – the episodes, the characters, etc. When we were given an opportunity to review some Star Wars products, we found it hard to choose which ones we’d love. We decided to go for the Path of the Force Lightsaber – from the film which is set for release in December.

This lightsaber is part of the Bladebuilders range which means you can add different light sabres to create the ultimate weapon.

The Path of the Force Lightsaber is cool (as Ethan says). You can choose to be a Jedi with the Jedi connecter which features an awesome blade at the touch of a button. Or you can choose to be a Sith with the Sith connector and that has accessories that release when a button is pressed.

This is Star Wars so the Jedi lightsaber is blue and the Sith lightsaber lights up red.

Changing the connecters is a piece of cake as you just press a little button to twist and remove. It’s not fiddly at all which I like.

It is an extendable lightsaber which means it takes up less space and it is more durable as I find that the lightsabers that come as one piece as more prone to break.

What I like about this toy is that it is customisable as you can attach both connectors and make it all the more awesome.

There are sound effects too which all make it a very impressive toy indeed.

The Path of the Force Lightsaber is priced at £49.99 and is available at all major toy retailers. It requires 3 AAA batteries which are included.

For more Star Wars fun, you can download the Hasbro Star Wars Studio FX App (works on selected iPhone, iPad, iPod and Android devices) to make videos with toys.

  1. Man that’s soo cool! Look at that!! My son is a bit too young still for Star Wars (he’s watched it though already, not sure how much he understood other than robots :)) but that laser saber is very cool.
