Review: Hi-Tec V-Lite Infinity Ion-Mask Women’s Running Shoes

When I would go to buy a pair of trainers, the first thing I would look for was the look of the shoe and that is sometimes not always the best way to go. However, since I decided to take up some form of running (or fast walking if you prefer) to lose the post baby weight, I have been searching for the perfect pair of trainers that would offer me support. Luckily, I had an opportunity to review some Women’s running shoes from Hi-Tec and I have never been happier.

I chose the Hi-Tec V-Lite Infinity Ion-Mask Women’s Running shoes and here are some of its features

V-Lite : is a vertical build concept that makes the shoes as light as possible.

XCM seamless comfort: The shoes are seamless as far as possible making for greater breathability and comfort.

SUZE – or Seamless Upper Zonal Engineering which involves improved fit, comfort and durability as well as reduced weight and risk of blisters.

3D counter balance : the infinity running platform ensures smoother straighter centre of pressure and less likelihood of injury.

Flex Zone- Multi angle facets on the sole lead to greater flexibility.

Vibram Outsole – For better traction, durability and protection.

This is what the shoe offers and enough of the technology talk, let’s see how it worked when I used it.

Firstly, I must comment on the look of the shoe. It looks great. The greys with the blue make it suitable across a range of ages as well as help it to look stylish.

With regards to comfort – these running shoes really hit the spot. They are super lightweight and exceedingly comfortable. During the holidays I have gone on long walks in different terrain and the shoe has done well.  Being waterproof too helps as I never come back with wet feet. While my feet feel warm, I can feel the breathability of the shoes. They are also nicely cushioned, while not being soft to provide the support for running or long walks.

The soles have a really nice grip as I have been walking in muddy paths and there has been no slipping or sliding.

One thing I like about the shoe is that it makes my feet look slimmer and this has been a moot point with other trainers as I find that they tend to make feet look larger than normal. Not a particularly feminine look. These shoes however, possibly because of the seamless technology, give a really nice, proportioned look to the feet.
