Our Barbie #BeSuper Party

I had written earlier today about how being super doesn’t really have to mean having super powers but it’s the little everyday things that count.

Well, thanks to Mattel, we were sent some goodies to host our very own Barbie #BeSuper party.

The girls love dolls and Barbie in particular so they were excited to call their friends over to watch the new Barbie in Princess Power DVD together.

We sent out our special invitations.

We also had a selection of toys to play with –

and the girls enjoyed playing with them.

They then sat down to enjoy the DVD together and had a few after school snacks.

They were happy to take home these lovely colouring books.

During the party, I asked the girls about their idea of being a super hero and what power they would like. Here’s what they said –

  • Power to make everyone in the world happy
  • Power to make everyone never go hungry
  • Power to make everything sparkly (this from a three year old!)
  • Power to spread love and stop war

Some pretty impressive powers I would say.

The DVD and toys are available at all major retailers.

Disclaimer: I was sent some products to host a party with my children. All ideas and opinions are my own.
