Lego Minecraft – The Cave: A Review

Lego is very popular in our household and so is Minecraft. When the two combine, it is bound to be a very big hit.

We were sent this Lego Minecraft – The Cave set to review and Ethan could not wait to get started.

It comes with Steve (yay!) so all the more exciting.

As with all Lego products, it is easy to put the parts together as the bags containing the blocks are numbered. The instructions are very clear and the steps are simple to follow. Each step has a few blocks to be put together so very easy for a child to complete on his own.

When you put the set together it looks like this –

which is very similar to the Minecraft game. It was very exciting to have something tangible to play with rather than playing on screen all the time.

The blocks are of a great quality as one has come to rely upon when associated with Lego.

minecraftIt also comes with Zombie and Spider and TNT (Wow!)

Once completed, of course, you also have the option of recreating other scenes with the blocks which is great. In our house, we have several other Lego sets too so Ethan adds on to this set and creates other settings.

Highly recommended for a Christmas gift, this will do to keep him entertained till well past New Year.

Priced at £19.99, it is great value for money.
