It’s that time of the year – Christmas shopping, Nativity plays, beautiful lights and a feeling of magic everywhere.
Although a lot of this can be marred by colds and flu which are quite rampant at this time. The children unfortunately have the worst of it as they always seem to come back sniffly and having caught something ( and no it’s not usually something nice!).
Children being ill at this time can be quite trying as they really don’t enjoy being off school – there is so much fun stuff going on, and they can get pretty cranky and snotty (get it?)
While I am not obsessive about constantly wiping up everything with sterilised wipes (I would have to be crazy to and I am not!), I am careful about children washing their hands before they eat, when they are back from from outside and of course if they have just wiped their noses with the back of their hands (I’m sure if you’re a mum, you know how often this happens).
I know how easy it is to transfer germs this season and one does have to prevent getting flu as far as possible.
I do use Dettol for a lot of household cleaning and this season I have also been using wipes (they are so easy to use).
Here is quite an amusing video asking how far will you go to avoid the doorknob.
Disclaimer: I was under no obligation to share this post but I will be receiving some products from Dettol to try out.
