As part of being a Samsung Kids Club Blogger, I was given access to a very interesting App on my Smart TV.
With 3 children, I am constantly on the lookout for television programmes that they all enjoy. True, there is always something one for everyone but having things that the children watch together and all agree upon can be quite a difficult task.
I was invited to try out Hopster and I’ve not looked back. 🙂
What is Hopster?
It is an app that is available that gives you access to hundreds of kids shows and learning games. You can view many of the most popular children’s programmes without any advertisements. Totally helpful as then the kids can’t ask for a particular toy they’ve absolutely set their heart on after seeing the ad. And since there are so many adverts on, their wants never end.
This besides the point, it is quite frustrating to a little child to have to wait for an advert to finish to continue watching their favourite programme.
So, what’s on Hopster?
Programmes like Postman Pat, Rupert Bear, Thomas and Friends, Humf and many more are popular on Hopster. My children are loving the fact that they can watch Tinga Tinga Tales again. 🙂
There are some fun games for the children that involve learning and the kids are happy to play them without realising that they are learning. The best part is that you can store your scores and know your progress.
The best part is that I can download episodes to watch offline and once downloaded, the App is playable in over 100 countries. Great for holidays.
There are some free shows too –
You do need to have a subscription and it costs £3.99 a month with no contracts so you can cancel anytime.
There is even a 7 day free trial period so you can sign up and see if it’s for you.
