Jadyn is getting more and more conscious of fashion as the days go by which is only natural. (I remember at her age I was always trying to keep up with trends even though I may not have followed them).
She like most girls loves to have her nails painted. When we had seen an advertisement of the Easy Nails Spa on telly, she was after me to get it. Luckily, soon after, I received an opportunity to review it.
The Easy Nails Spa lets you sit back and relax while your nails get painted. Almost by magic! That’s what it is supposed to do. But anyone who has painted their nails themselves knows that it’s not really an easy feat to get it perfected. It takes some trying before you get it right especially if you are a young girl of 10.
To get your nails painted by the Easy Nails Spa you need to just follow instructions.
Put your nail polish in the holder.
Then press a button to have the brush dip into it.
Position your finger on the space. This is the tricky part as you need to get it right. If the brush does not reach you will just get a bit painted.
To get the finger painted, you need to repeat the steps 2- 3 times. You also need to move your finger around so that the finger is painted perfectly.
It was a bit difficult to get it right and we had several attempts before we managed to get some nails painted properly. I don’t really think it’s a sit back and relax kind of thing as we got frustrated several times before we were satisfied with the painting. It also takes a bit of time when you press the button and the brush lifts and comes down so it does take longer than painting one own nails.
Having said that, Jadyn quite enjoyed the experience and it was even more fun for her getting to change the colour of her nails. I think if you get the position of the finger and the brush right, it could be fun for young girls and you would get a decent look. The fact that it also comes with gems to decorate your nails further, is a big plus.
It is great if your child is having friends over and they want to have a nail painting session as when Jadyn had a play date, she and her friend quite enjoyed getting their nails done.
Besides, Jadyn doesn’t keep asking me to paint her nails. A definite plus. 😉
The Easy Nails Nail Spa is from Character and is priced at £29.99. It includes the machine, two bottles of nails polish and some nail decorations.
