I’ve never been to Dubai. Well, technically speaking that is. I’ve travelled through Dubai on several occasions once even missing my flight and having to stay overnight.
I do remember that whenever my Mum would travel via Dubai I would ask her to get perfume from duty free – Nina Ricci L’Air Du Temps and Anais Anais by Cacharel.
Now being asked to compete for a trip of a lifetime sounds like I would be able to pick these up myself.
But, I’d obviously want to do much more than that – my wants have grown since I was a young girl.
Dubai has obviously grown into a city where families can enjoy quality time together with a great many things to do.
I know these are things my family would also enjoy so here goes as I dream of what my holiday in Dubai would entail –
Cruise – Now this is top of my list. We have never been on a cruise so how cool would be to go on one with the family. I’ve seen some pretty cool trips here.
Ballooning – I’ve always wanted to do this and though I’m a bit nervous – it’s on my bucket list. I’m not growing any younger so better tick this off fast.
Visit a souk – After reading so much about these in
all those a few Mills and Boons romances, I can’t help but want to wander around one. With my husband of course. 🙂 Exotic spices, perfumes and GOLD. Not to forget the textile souk. My kind of shopping experience.
Next on the list is a slightly higher aspiration – The Burj Khalifa of course. I’d be on top of the world.
I quite like this itinerary 11 places in 5 days? My kind of trip…
Besides it would be great for a feature on my new travel blog – High Five Holidays.
