I was invited to add my personal signature to the event below but couldn’t make it and I know from the photos that missed out on a good thing. I love colouring as I find it quite relaxing though I don’t get enough time to indulge in it. Here’s what happened when Ribena invited a group of fun-seekers to step into the Ribena Colouring Café, in London’s Convent Garden last week and colour in their own portion of an amazingly bonkers piece of art!
Teaming up with Bristol-based artist, Alex Lucas, Ribena set her the challenge to illustrate a surrealist city landscape, full of quirk and joy; which in turn was chopped into 120 individual pieces and a group of fun-seekers were let loose with felt-tips to colour to their hearts’ content – in-between filling up on tasty Ribena Light!
It was a chance to just leave the world outside for an hour and add a splash of colour, bringing to life an epically proportioned picture packed full of Ribenary surprises.

I know I missed an amazing event that I would have enjoyed but then I just went in and created my own masterpiece online. It’s more touch pad colouring but it was still a lot of fun.
