It’s no secret that we love a cuppa. And after visiting T2 at Kingston, I have a pretty good idea why we’re so fixated on it.
I was invited to celebrate National Tea Day by visiting the T2 store at the Bentall Centre in Kingston and getting introduced to a range of teas. I had no idea how many there were.
We met Nick who was a master at the different types of teas and we tasted several kinds of teas. I honestly never knew there were so many.
We had an amazing afternoon – just tasting tea.
My favourite was the ginger and ginseng one which did wonders for my sore throat which I happened to have at that time. Jadyn like the strawberry one and the fruit fusion which was more a cold, refreshing tea.
There were so many to choose from that when the time came for me to choose my favourite tea – I was stumped. I ended up choosing a fruit fusion, an Oolong fusion and the ginger and lemongrass that I liked.
I was also given a Teamaker which I cannot do without nowadays and I wonder what I ever did without one.
T2 started in Australia and in 2014 took their teas to the world. If you go into one of their stores, you are definitely going to come out with something. They have teapots and cups which are really cute.
I love the idea of afternoon tea too with dainty sandwiches, scones and pastries.
How do you like your tea?
