I LOVE my blog and I love to spend time working on anything related to it. It is MINE after all.
However over the last few months (years), I’ve noticed that most of the events and the opportunities have been for the children. Totally miffed!!
How pleased was I then, to be invited to an event for myself. And it promised an afternoon of pampering. An event by HP to tell me more about their HP Instant Ink Service.
Now you may wonder what instant ink has to do with making time for myself and getting pampered – read on and you’ll soon find out.
Back to the event – I was truely pampered – from the car that picked me up to the afternoon of treatments and treats at The Ampersand Hotel.
I was greeted with a delicious non-alcoholic drink and offered a hand massage.
We then had a demonstration by Thom Brown, HP’s inkologist who took us through a series of exercises (Mostly red – yeah, that’s ME!)
and even showed us how to mix a great Magarita.
Following this, we were treat to a delicious afternoon tea with dainty pastries and sandwiches.
And then, it was back to the Spa room for a neck and shoulder massage and to get my nails done.
And…I went home in style by car too. Thank goodness that I had a relaxing afternoon because the ride back home was stressful as I was caught up in traffic – lots of it. Didn’t affect me though – I was still riding the wave of my Body and Mind Spa with HP.
The main thing – what’s Instant Ink got to do with relaxation? And for that matter – what is Instant Ink? No silly, it’s not a printer that releases ink instantly. No printer could do THAT!!
Well, maybe HP has made a breakthrough here. While your printer may not be able to stock a never ending supply of ink within it, this is as close as it gets. Instant Ink is an ink replacement service where it allows customers to sign up to one of three monthly plans which allows the HP Printer to order Original HP replacement cartridges before the ink runs out. So, you’re pretty much covered in the printing area – leaving you time to relax and go to the spa. Get the connection?
With Instant Ink, new cartridges are delivered straight to your door, offering a convenient and cost-effective way of home printing. The plans are based on the number of pages printed, not cartridges used and customers pay a low monthly fee from £1.99, with savings beginning at. Whether printing high-quality black and white, colour documents or photos, the cost to users is the same.
I also like the idea that they send a bag to recycle your old cartride.
This probably explains better how cheap it is to print using HP Instant Ink.
Watch this space as I’m going to rise to the challenges that HP will be setting me. Bring it on…
Disclosure: I was invited to an afternoon of R&R with HP. All ideas and opinions are my own.
