We LOVE a good tea party. I mean, they’re the best thing that can happen on a school day.
And a tea party is always better when you have the right guests. Preferably princesses.
Besides tea parties always feel so posh and royal – sipping tea from tiny cups and taking delicate bits of sandwiches and pastries.
My children love to have tea parties and when we were invited to host a tea party for some very special guests, it was an offer we could not refuse.
Jasmine, Belle, Ariel and Sofia joined us at our tea party and since we already had Cinderella visiting as well as Rapunzel and Elsa – it was houseful.
Today is National Tea Day and we couldn’t let it pass without hosting a tea party (or two) ahead of it. Just a practice.
Of course, we had all our beautiful princesses joining us.
The toddler princess dolls from Jakks Pacific are truly adorable. Forget the children, I love them myself. Each princess wears a sparkly dress, has a jewelled crown and beautiful shoes. They wear their signature colours. Their eyes are really sparkly and are beautiful. They are priced at £19.99 each.
We were also sent a Sofia Tea Party Set and and this included a magical picnic mat with plates and a surprise sugar pot. It also had 2 cups and some play cakes and 2 spoons. The cups are small and perfect for little ones. This set is priced at £15.99
The Princess Sofia the First Toddler Doll is so pretty and she came with her lovely purple dress and a brush for her hair too.
All the dolls are really sweet and the girls love them.
We’ve had two tea parties already and we are having another tea party later this afternoon. I’m beginning to think that the children are using this as an excuse to have cake everyday!
Next week Aeryn has invited her friends over with their dolls for another tea party. I’m almost certain it’s an excuse now.
Are you going to have a tea party tomorrow? Do you like tea parties?
I was sent the above dolls for review. All ideas and opinions are my own.
