A short while ago, I wrote about how proud I was to be chosen as a Koo-di Ambassador. As part of my role as ambassador, I am also really pleased to be able to review Koo-di products and let you, as my readers, know how great their products are.
I was sent a couple of products from the Koo-di bath time range to review – a parent kneeling mat and a bath tap protector.
I have to tell you that I am quite ashamed of my knees. It’s because of the frequent kneeling to change the children and bathe them that I have these very rough patches on my knees which no matter how much I moisturize, seem to recur. I never thought how much of a gift the Koo-di parent kneeling mat would be.
The Koo-di parent kneeling mat is made of foam and soft padding so that it makes it easier to kneel and give the children a bath. Its anti-slip surface makes it ideal for wet feet in the bathroom. It is non slip so it stays in place.
The mat is attractive with its bright polka dot print and Phthalate free. It also has a hook for easy storage so it can drip dry over the bath. Although I must say that it dries pretty quickly so even if you do not hang it to dry, it’s fine. It is also mildew resistant so it retains it bright colours.
For me, I wonder what I had been doing without it.
I also find it has another purpose. My little one hates to be towelled dry and would try and run out of the bathroom without being towelled properly. She has however; taken a shine to the mat and now after her bath I make her stand with her feet on the blue circles and she stands there and allows me to wipe her dry with no fuss at all.
A two-fold purpose served with the Koo-di Parent Kneeling Mat.
It is priced at £12.99 and I think it’s a small price to pay to have great looking knees and a comfortable bath experience.
Have you ever knocked yourself on the underside of a tap? I have and I can tell you – it does hurt!
So when I have given my children a bath together, I have always been careful to ensure that none of them catch their head on the tap and I find myself repeating constantly – ‘come away from the tap’ Now though with the Koo-di bath tap protector, I don’t have that problem.
The bath tap protector is soft and at the same time is durable to ensure that baby does not get bumped on or scalded with the hot tap.
It fits on most single taps or mixer taps and though my tap is a kind of flat shape, it fits perfectly well. The part that fits onto the tap has flexible teeth that grip the tap. At the end of the protector, there is a hole from which the water flows. This area has a heat spot that change colour (it changes from red to light pink) if the water is too hot.
I turn it with the water spouting from the top and it looks like a fountain which the children love.
It is quite attractive too with the polka dots but mostly it provides peace of mind knowing that the children will not hurt themselves on the tap while in the bath.
It is mildew resistant and is made from Phthalate free PVC. It retails at £9.99 which I think is quite reasonable taking into account the quality and the use of the product.
